Our six rooms and 2 bedroom Heritage Suite are individually designed each with their own special character whilst reflecting the overall essence of The George & Heart House. Guests can unwind in the Stables Courtyard Garden and, for those staying upstairs, Reggie’s Bar offers a cozy spot for complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits, and a nightcap from our honesty bar.
Our Zen Den is available for morning stretches or meditation, and it also serves as a treatment space—be sure to explore the pampering options before your stay!

THE HIDEAWAY
This room has a charming freestanding bath right at the foot of a cozy four-poster bed. With golden drapes and soft bedspreads, it’s the perfect spot for a little escape while enjoying all that classic Margate has to offer.
As our Master Bedroom, it features a headboard upcycled from the original main bar, adding a nice touch of history.

THE HERITAGE SUITE
This luxury 2-bedroom suite is located on the 2nd floor of our Grade II listed building, dating back to the 18th century. This charming old coaching inn sleeps four and has been beautifully restored to honor its heritage.
With coral velvet, Venetian plaster, and shell chandeliers, the suite exudes charm. The master bedroom overlooks The Stables Courtyard garden, while the twin room features a lovely roll-top bath. Plus, it has its own entrance via the courtyard for added privacy.
You’ll enjoy a king-size bed, a roll-top bath, a walk-in shower, and a wash basin. The twin room can also be converted to day beds for extra flexibility.

REGGIE’S
Our Heart House guests will enjoy exclusive access to Reggie’s, our private mini bar, named after Kelly’s Grandad, Reginald Leslie Perrin. This charming space features the very same drinks cabinet that dear Reggie used for his evening tipples for 53 years, until the ripe old age of 93. The cabinet has been beautifully updated by the talented Burley & Field team to fit perfectly into its new surroundings.
The cozy, wonky room exudes charm and offers a delightful view down Love Lane in Margate’s Old Town—perfect for a bit of people-watching.
